Wedding Care D-30

Hello. I am Dr. Yang-Im Hur, Director of Coq de Dosan Clinic.

Exactly one month before the wedding studio photoshoot, the D-30 milestone is a time when excitement mixes with growing impatience. The core principle I emphasize to prospective couples visiting my consultation room is: “Do not try new high-stimulus treatments; lock in your results with proven moisture conditioning and line refinement.”

1. D-30 Medical Moisture Conditioning: Complete Blockade of Internal Dryness

The intense studio lighting and ultra-high-definition camera lenses clearly capture fine dead skin cells, bumpy textures, and fine lines caused by dryness on the skin surface.

Undergoing aggressive peeling procedures or physical exfoliation during this period destroys the skin barrier, causing wedding makeup to cake and flake on the day of the shoot. Instead, you must maximize the moisture retention capacity of the dermal layer through radiofrequency vibration care (LDM) and infusion-type hyaluronic acid moisture treatments. When internal skin moisture is fully plumped, natural light reflection occurs on the skin surface, creating a transparent radiance in both selfies and raw camera files.

2. Refining Lines for Three-Dimensional Camera Angles

Wedding photoshoots progress from various angles, including head-on shots, 45-degree profiles, back views, and zoom-ins.

  • For Brides (Trapezius & Collarbone Lines): Excessively tense and elevated trapezius muscles make the neck look short and conceal the charm of the dress line. By relaxing the tight fascia where the neck and shoulders meet and promoting lymphatic drainage along the décolleté line, your collarbones are made to look smooth and defined.
  • For Grooms (Jawline & Suit Fit): Fluid swelling stagnant under the jaw is drained, and the line from behind the ear to the chin tip is refined, creating a sharp and distinct impression when wearing a suit.

[D-30 Medical Checklist]

  • ☑️ Avoid harsh chemical peels and high-energy laser procedures that cause downtime
  • ☑️ Optimize your oil-water balance through dermal moisture infusion care 1 to 2 times a week
  • ☑️ Undergo décolleté circulation care to relieve swelling in the trapezius, neckline, and shoulders
  • ☑️ Focus on soothing under-chin breakouts and pores caused by the groom’s frequent shaving
  • ☑️ Stick primarily to trusted, familiar skincare products
